Proper Brushing Helps Us Deliver Power Safely
Brushing requirements on distribution projects and right of way widening are based on the type of power line construction.
For new construction, customers are responsible for brushing their own properties. We've provided diagrams below to give you guidelines on how to brush your property correctly. We will flag brushing that needs to be done. Brushing should not start until the proposed alignment has been agreed upon.
The following brushing diagrams are approved for the right of way requirements for the various power line construction types.
